I am posting my first comment on my new blog.

Most of the time the author of a blog tells an interesting story of an incident which taught them a life lesson. They artistically tell their experience weaving in wisdom for our enlightenment. Good writers lead us down the path of their thinking, sweeping us up in such a pleasant way that live it with them as we read. However, I could not write such a blog. Readers of my blog will not be coming because I am a great writer. However I hope they come and read what is written because the words are true and insightful. 

The truth is, this blog was started to lead people to my website and therefore to the book I wrote, Logos of God is the Tree of Life. I would like to publish the book but one does not just publish a book; one must promote the book also. To promote the book I must establish that I am some sort of authority in the subject area. A way to do that is to publish other writings including a blog.

The reason I want to publish the book is promote the thinking of the Creator of the Universe. The thinking of many Christians today is guided by well crafted words, with wonderful sounding ideas, claiming to be what the Bible says. The words sound great together but they are what men think and not what God thinks. If we take what the Holy Spirit spoke and apply an interpretation that come from the minds and experiences of men, we poison the reader spiritually. We act as one who opposes God and undermine the work He is doing in the reader’s life. We must be careful to communicate the meaning of the Bible as He intended when He wrote it.

God uses people to help communicate His message, because He loves us and wants us to take part in what He is doing. We want to communicate His message because it is life everlasting. My desire when writing the book, creating the website, and now with this blog is to point people back to our God. My goal is to help others rediscover the want to know His opinion of what is going on in the world today.
