What controls us?

2 Corinthians 5:14 For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died; 15 and He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf. 16 Therefore from now on we recognize no one according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer. 17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 18 Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

2 Peter 1:4 For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust. 5 Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge, 6 and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness, 7 and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love. 8 For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor unfruitful in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For he who lacks these qualities is blind or short-sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins. 10 Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; 11 for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you. 12 Therefore, I will always be ready to remind you of these things, even though you already know them, and have been established in the truth which is present with you 13 I consider it right, as long as I am in this earthly dwelling, to stir you up by way of reminder,

Hebrews 10:19 Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; 24 and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, 25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near. (Return)

What controls us? The goal of our instruction is love as demonstrated by Jesus Christ. His love fulfills the Law and is the seed of the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ did not die so we could continue to live for ourselves, but that we would return the love He gave us by the way we love one another. We live for the one who died and rose again for our sake. How can we say we live for Him and do not live for those He makes His abode in? (He is the vine and we are the branches; He makes His abode in us.) We no longer live as we did before in our trespasses and sin. We are born anew with the Holy Spirit transformed by the divine nature of God’s love that He causes to dwell in us. For if the Holy Spirit dwells in us then the qualities of His nature increases with in us. Those who stray from this teaching mislead cause us to forget how He purifies us from our sin.

We should put our concentration on growing in love by joining Jesus Christ n the demonstration of His love. No greater gift can we give but to lay down our life for the Vine and His branches. Our confidence is not in ourselves, but in the living way He created for us in His being; the work of the Holy Spirit. We are able to draw near to the Creator of the Universe knowing He will not fail to transform us into the image of Jesus Christ. We should not show unfaithfulness by taking the responsibility for our cleaning on to ourselves by works of the flesh. But leaving the old way of righteousness by being right, let us focus on righteousness that comes from loving others as He loves us. Our lives should now be lived with a purpose and not filled with the temporal things of this world, but with the fellowship of God and His people; striving to live according to the code of love.

Seeing we have such a great calling, we should not be silent in our recommendations to those around us. We are ambassadors of the way and we should make every effort to remind each other of love, even if we already know the truth. It is our confession of what we have witnessed in Christ that we share as, we assemble together in the unity of His love. We should not find it hard to encourage one another by the events we live while abiding in the brotherhood of the cross. His work within us should cause us to arouse each other to live out His love, by the way we relate to one another.

His ministry of reconciliation is not a ministry of judgment and condemnation according to the law but is reconciliation according to the nature of love, even for those who hate us. The world is in darkness of hate and needs the light of love to shine as a new dawn on the spiritual horizon. If we do not treat each other as we would treat Jesus Christ our Savior, how can we expect to look different to the world around us? We must be ambassadors by the style of our life with one another before we can be ambassadors by our words.

A Prayer for Unbelievers

Our Father, LORD, and Creator, we honor your name which is the name above all names. We give thanks to You, for the provisions You have made for your people’s benefit – both spiritually in Jesus Christ and in our physical lives though Your Holy Spirit. The world is full of troubles but You make a way through its maze. You have not removed us from the problems that face the Earth, instead you ask us to remain as a light to those in darkness.

LORD, I apologize for those who call themselves after Your name, but live after the world. They proclaim and worship their religion while claiming Your grace. They follow their religion of selfish desires and turn their backs on Your instructions. They speak as if You were important to them, but teach the thoughts of men instead of Your intended meaning given in the Bible. Their standing before you is the same as the atheists because they do not believe You when you speak. They act as if You are powerless to change the condition of the Earth, while they work against You and Your expressed will.

The unbelievers Lord will claim You do not exist. Others proclaim you are uninterested or too judgmental. They do not know Your love, even though You set the example of love on the cross. You do love them with an everlasting, self sacrificing love. Many love the idea of Your loving them, but refuse to show love in return. They do not understand that because of love, You must act against those who act destructively and hinder Your plan, which brings peace and good will to all men. Thank You for the mercy You have displayed so far and the opportunity You give to repent and live according to Your design.

Even those who truly yield to You and long for Your presence are not demonstrating Your likeness the way we should. No wonder the atheists work so hard against You. Forgive us and the obstacles we put in You way. Give us Your thoughts as a light in the darkness of world events. As You said, this is a dead time and mankind will get increasingly more perverse and obstinate to the point where love demands You to act – resulting in Your judgment of them.

Even though they will not listen and turn from their wicked ways, make the decision they must make as clear as possible. Maybe some will yet listen.

AMEN

Love Your Enemy as Jesus Christ Love You

Matthew 5: 43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 “But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 “For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 “If you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? 48 “Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Romans 5:6 For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

The Love Jesus Christ showed to the world on the Cross of Reconciliation was a love given to His enemies. While we were at our most despicable time of our lives, at the right time, He took the punishment for the sins of the world. No amount of reasoning can help us understand the depth of what that statement means. But we need to examine it with all of our days trying to understand it to the best of our abilities. The image He is creating in us is the image of love given to those who are looking to do harm to us. Jesus Christ so loved His enemies that He bore their sin upon a cross.

The kind of love given to those who will return it is of no great value. Even the worst of sinners will love when it benefits them. Murderers and thieves want to be loved and to give love. Selfish love is no love at all. Perfect (mature) love goes beyond looking for a return. Perfect love is a natural love. Natural Love happens as a normal response to the every day circumstances of life. It is given to everyone regardless of their response. Natural Love is given because of the character of the person who gives love. It is not dependant on the person who the love is given. The person with Natural Love must act according to it because it is who they are.

Jesus Christ is God and God is Love. He does not need t overcome a selfish nature to love, love is who He is. He could not act in a way that is contrary to His nature; therefore every act that comes from Him is love. He does not have a desire to hate so He does not have to overcome a desire to hate. Even as He was being hated He returned love. Because it is impossible for Him to act out of sin it is impossible for Him to act out of hate.

The results of God dwelling in us as the Holy Spirit is love manifested in us. We cannot create it for ourselves, but His life lived in us creates it. Love must become our natural response to those around us. Even those who intend to do us harm. We can only do that if we are abiding in His love. As He lives in us, He lives according to His nature. His nature is perfect love. We love as He loved on the cross because he lives that love in us and we abide in that love.

As we grow in Christ, His image of love grows in us and we take that image unto our lives. His nature becomes our nature and love becomes the natural thing to do. Love becomes the natural thing to do, regardless of what is happening around us.

Jesus Christ Master Over Sin

From the Book
The Logos is the Tree of Life
A Journey to Discover the Heart of God

To conquer sin, we must have a different law than the Law of Righteousness. Overcoming evil by controlling sin with knowledge will never cleanse us of sin. We will remain slaves to sin as long as we battle sin on this battleground.
Jesus Christ is the Master over sin, for He lived a perfect life as a man by the power of Love and did not sin. He meets the requirements of the Law of Righteousness. Since Jesus Christ offers to share the Life that overcame sin, those who take part in His Life live as He lives. Since He is the Master over sin through Love, we must admit that He would also be Master over sin in our lives. He cannot allow sin to continue in us, since He shares His Life with us; for He would be joining in the evil with us. If Jesus Christ was to join us in sin, how could He continue as judge over others who sin?
If He allowed sin to continue in us, He would be choosing to engage in our evil, He would no longer be without sin, and no longer Master over sin. How could He then judge the evil of sin if He is not Master over sin? The slave does not have authority over the master, but is under authority to the master. If He is to remain sinless, it is impossible for Him to take part in evil by allowing us to continue in our sin. We are unable to exercise authority over sin, for we are slaves to sin. Therefore, Jesus Christ, who is the Master over our sin, must be the responsible one in our lives by exercising His mastery over our sin. By doing so, He cleanses us of all sin. He has promised to exercise His authority over sin as our advocate, allowing us to live sinless lives through His workmanship.
Therefore it is not our responsibility to become masters over our sin. Pursuing our own mastery over sin shows unfaith in His mastery over sin. We would be calling Him a liar since we would be expressing our belief that He is unable to stop us from sinning. We would be rejecting His offer to be master over our sin and trying to carry out the work of obtaining mastery over sin.
Since we cannot gain mastery over sin, we remain in our sin. Since Jesus Christ is responsible for obtaining mastery over sin and is the only one who can, why do we fight to keep the responsibility? If we do not have the ability to gain mastery over sin and Jesus Christ has already gained mastery over sin, it’s logical to yield responsibility to Jesus Christ for overcoming our sin. He is the only one who can clean us from our sin and He has promised to create His goodness in us. We should trust Him to keep His promise and show faith by placing our welfare into His hands.
If Jesus Christ has the responsibility to conquer sin in our lives, it is no longer we who triumph over sin. Christ Jesus, who lives in us, will overcome sin in us. Since Jesus Christ has the responsibility and competence to overcome sin, any virtue that is in us is not ours but Jesus Christ’s who is overcoming sin and has already begun to overcome sin in our lives. It is no longer us, but Jesus Christ who is in us (Gal. 2:15-20).
We should no longer encourage people to work on their own to overcome sin, as if they have the power to overcome it. We must encourage people to allow the Spirit of God to exercise His authority over sin. Those who have Jesus Christ in them were once slaves to sin but are no longer slaves to sin. Instead, they are a part of the new way and are slaves to righteousness in Christ Jesus. Since all are not able to conquer sin, we must point them to Jesus Christ.
If we point them to the one who can overcome sin, we must also point them to the method by which He overcame sin. Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection is the only way to overcome sin! All must come to Him, admitting their need for cleansing from sin and He is faithful to cleanse them from all their unrighteousness (1 John 1:5-2:2). Remember we do not claim to have obtained the goal. Rather, we pressed on toward the goal (Philip. 3:8-15). We do not look at it as achieving the goal. Instead we recognize that it is Jesus Christ who achieves the goal by the Life He lives in us. His life, lived in us, is the narrow gate. No one comes to the Father except through Him.

The Goal is Love

1 Timothy 1:3 As I urged you upon my departure for Macedonia, remain on at Ephesus so that you may instruct certain men not to teach strange doctrines, 4 nor to pay attention to myths and endless genealogies, which give rise to mere speculation rather than furthering the administration of God which is by faith. 5 But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. 6 For some men, straying from these things, have turned aside to fruitless discussion, 7 wanting to be teachers of the Law, even though they do not understand either what they are saying or the matters about which they make confident assertions.

Love, what is love? When people speak of love are they all talking about the same thing as the Bible? The love Paul is talking about was exampled by Jesus Christ and is based upon the character of the one doing the love; not the one receiving love. Biblical Love instructs us live in a way that is opposite of the “me first”, “dog eat dog”, kind of love provided by the world. Love as demonstrated by God’s sacrifice on the cross was for His enemies. He forgave those who nailed Him to a cross, took on their sin, paid their penalty, and provided eternal life to those who would receive it. He provided a benefit for all, regardless of how they felt about Him. The love He showed on the cross was given feely and cannot be earned. It was given even to enemies as they tortured and killed the Son of God.
The world’s love is based on feelings; therefore when the feeling dies the love vanishes also. The world will teach that love is earned and can be lost if it is not continually earned. It teaches that you only love those who love you back and that love for someone else should not interfere with self. The world’s love is provided to those who can benefit the one giving love. The problem with the world’s love is that it can be held back and not given to everyone; this creates a lack of lov; a void, which we call hate. The world encourages hate. It laments the effect our lack of love has, while at the same time it poisons our spiritual and physical environments. It is here today and gone tomorrow; a very untrustworthy type of love.
The Goal of our Instruction should make clear the depth of true Biblical love, which produces acts that are beneficial even to those who hate us. Biblical love is based on the character of the Spirit of Jesus Christ dwelling is us and not on the character of those we are interacting with. Our instruction goes beyond salvation and repentance from sin. It lays aside the question of our being accepted in the brotherhood. Our righteousness is based on the love of the Holy Spirit within us. He causes it to flow out from us. It is not about our improvement, but rather it is about the well-being of those around us. As His seed of love grows and natures, our acts will be acts of other centered love; even for our enemies.

Renovating or Replacing?

We are renovating our house and that is a big deal around here. I have notice some things about renovating a house that is like renovating a person. The old things must go away to make room for the new stuff. The old man cannot exist if the new man is to be. We must take off the old in order to put on the new. 2 Cor. 5:17 Col.  3:9-10 holding on to the old way of life prevents the new from happening.

This is not the first time we have done something like this. Back in 1992 we torn our house down to the foundation and rebuilt it. 17 years later we are tearing out our bathroom and remodeled much of the upstairs. One thing that stands out about such activities is that the old is removed to make room for the new. To change the design walls that were there no longer exist. In 1992 the old house was torn down and hauled away. I could not build the new while the old is standing on the foundation. So the drafty doors and windows are gone and the kitchen is in a different place; on the other end of the house. Everyone got their own room with real walls. There is no reason I would want the old house back, but I am not able to get it back even it I wanted to.

Now we are remodeling what we thought of as new and now think of as old. We took down walls to make more room here and added walls to make less room there. Windows were taken out and new ones placed back in a different location. What we will have when we are done is a mixture of the old and the new. Some of the material we used over and some we had to get replacements and some were added as a new feature.

Just like when I tore the house down completely, with the remodeling we had to destroy the old in order to make room for the new. One of the first phases of a remodeling project, after the planning stage, is the demolition phase. I cannot go back to the way it was before. I cannot go back to use my old shower, it is not there. The plumbing is relocated and the tub and shower have been removed. The wall separating the outer and inner bathrooms is gone and the two rooms are now one. I cannot go back to having a washroom and a shower room.

And so it is when Jesus Christ entered my life. The old is destroyed to make room for the new. I cannot go back to being who I was before I was saved because that person no longer exists. If my old life is able to function then my life was remodeled and not replaced. If my life was destroyed and a new life raised in it place through the person of Jesus Christ, then it is impossible to return to a time before I knew Christ.

Once Christ entered my life things had to change because it is His nature to make the changes. He is the craftsman that is transforming me into His image. Change is how I know that He is in my life. If Jesus Christ is the one making the changes, His is the one who gets the credit for the change. My strivings to change is on only a rearranging of the furniture or remodeling the old life. Renewing a failing way of life will not make it a successful in the eyes of the Lord. Removing the failing, sinful nature and replacing it with Christ’s nature is what I needed and what He is doing.

If you struggle with the old nature, maybe you are trying to re-educate it instead of replacing it. You cannot replace it through your own effort, only Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit has the power to change you. Having your life replaced instead of remolded is more than some are willing to do. They fear the loss of what they now have and do not want to go through the destruction and confusion that comes with rebuilding. But it is well worth what you may go through in the end. Now is the time to yield your life to Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit. The experience is the experience of a life time.

The rebuilding process in my house is difficult. The power is off in places for different lengths of time and the house is always a mess. We know the goal to where we want to be and that is what we are looking for. Same with my life in Christ, my goal is to be as He wants me to be the process is messed up at times but my eye is on the goal.

On the Way to there Why not Share

Inspired by the song, “He Ain’t Heavy; He’s my Brother

The road we follow in life is long, with many twists and turns. At each intersection we must choose between paths we do not know where they lead. But the love we have for one another makes us strong enough to carry our friend. I say to you, “You’re not heavy, you’re part of the Christian family.”

So we go on with everyday desires and responsibilities. None of that is more important than your welfare; you are my concern and I care about what happens to you. Your problems and mannerism and issues do not weigh me down. We will make it through this life because of love for one another. I know you will not encumber me, because you’re not heavy, you’re part of the Christian family.

What burdens me is the sadness I feel because there are people out there whose hearts are not filled with the gladness that love for one another will give them if they only heard the words of God they would know we must care for the other more than ourselves. Because they don’t they have fighting, hating, hurting, sorrow, and a sense of loss.

It can feel like a long, long road and there is no ability to go back and do it over. So while we are going from here to there why not share of our inner beings and the problems we face? I know the load I bear will not weigh me down at all, because you’re not heavy, you’re part of the Christian family. You are my bother, my sister, my parents, my friend; you’re not heavy, you’re like me.

Comment

The Road of life can appear to be long at times; however in the larger picture of the universe we are not here but for a moment. Here to day and gone tomorrow. The twists and turns of life limit our view of the future, making the anticipation of what awaits us over bearing since it is so unknowable. Each decision made at the intersection of life leads us down another path and the possibilities are different on each path. We may wonder, “What would the other path been like?” We can never really know what the other path would have brought us; we may only experience the one we are on.

If our journey is alone then the path is much more difficult than if we travel together. However the crowd may be going the wrong way and we must choose between the path of life or the crowd. Jesus spoke of a path that was less traveled and it leads to everlasting life. He also spoke of a broad path that leads to destruction traveled by the many. He linked the narrow path of live to the golden rule. Loving one another is the path of life we should follow.

How we treat the people we travel with is very important when on the path of love and so the song “He Ain’t Heavy He’s my Brother.” We need to change the word to “You Ain’t Heavy You’re my Brother.” Think of the words to that song. “So on we go; your welfare is my concern. No burden are you to bear we’ll get there. And the load doesn’t weigh me down at all. You ain’t heavy you’re my brother.”

The way to change our behavior towards other people is to see them as Christ saw them while He was hanging from the cross. He saw the sinner and how much sin had done to them. He proclaimed His thoughts while on the cross, “Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.” Always look at others (and yourself) as doing the thing they would not want to do if they knew what they were doing.

Free song You Ain’t heavy performed poorly by myself, but the words are good.

How do I know what God is thinking?

The question has been asked, “How do I know what God is thinking?” This is a good question and the answer can be a little involved. For many “Red Flags” start waving as soon as someone claims to know what God is thinking. Their concern may be legitimate because so many bad things happened in the name of God; where the one doing wrong claimed to have been instructed by God. The danger does exist and will happen when people search for God’s will, without the proper reference points necessary to stay on track. They wonder off onto a path of man’s thinking based on man’s experiences and then claim they follow God’s leading. (Prov. 16:25)

Reference Point #1 – All scripture is inspired by the Hoy Spirit and it is not the work of men. (2 Peter 1:20) The Lord God (YHWH) has written what is in His heart down in a permanent record we call the Bible. Therefore what we believe God is communicating to us needs to fit into what He has said publicly, as recorded. (Isaiah 55:8-9)

Reference Point #2 – Even with a written record men have not understood God’s intent; as evident by His need to correct His people thinking. (Jer. 8:8-9) Yahweh sent His Son, Jesus Christ as the living word; to better communicate His intended meaning to His people. (Col. 1:15) What we think we know about God must fit into the life Jesus lived. His life sheds Light onto the words of the scripture. (John 1:1-3)

Reference Point #3 – There is more to the Living Word than what happened nearly 2000 years ago. Jesus Christ is still active and working in His people’s lives today through the Holy Spirit. (Eph 2:10) Every man is given enough knowledge to honor God as part of being created. (Romans 1:18-21) We who believe in the name of Jesus Christ and have accepted His Life into our lives have the living word available to us, as a guide to what God is thinking. (Jer. 31:34) Everything the Holy Spirit reveals to us is in line with the Bible and in line with the life and death of Jesus Christ. Everything else is the thinking of humans and unreliable. (1 Cor.2:9-16)

Now if you are looking to know what God is thinking about your choice of a mate or should you go to the mission field or if a job proposal is right for you or why am you are unemployed or why is there illness in your family, you are almost certainly going about searching for His will on the wrong path. The Holy Spirit is able to help in these matters and we should look for His assistance; understanding what God thinks is much bigger than that. Our lives interact with each other so much that we need to realize He is thinking first about the benefit to the body and everlasting life for His children. He is looking to transform His people into the image of Jesus Christ. His work is not about guiding you into who to marry; it is causing you to be the kind of spouse you should be. Set aside things like adultery, fornication, homosexuality, and abortion, for they are all outside His expressed will.

Like aiming a gun, we must line the three points up to hit the target of what He is looking to communicate.

How Do You Know?

Someone was asked, “How do you know there is a God?” How would you answer such a question? We could use a line out of a Sunday School song that says, “The Bible told me so!” Some would follow up your answer with a discussion about the reliability of the scriptures. Their question, “How do you know the Bible is true?” can go in many different directions; but we always end up with saying something like. ”The Bible is true because God wrote it.” Then we start over again at the beginning.

Now in the Bible it says in Romans 1:19 – 21, “Because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God, or give thanks; but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.” (NASB) That means I can know in my heart that there is a God.

So when I am asked, “How do you know that there is a God?” I say, “I know that there is a God because He fellowships with me everyday.” I make known to you as a first hand witness that there is a God.” He is busy making Himself know to to those who are looking for Him and believe what what their inner being tells them is true. Take the time to look at your life with the eyes of one looking for God and He will be found.

Introducing He Comes First!

I am posting my first comment on my new blog.

Most of the time the author of a blog tells an interesting story of an incident which taught them a life lesson. They artistically tell their experience weaving in wisdom for our enlightenment. Good writers lead us down the path of their thinking, sweeping us up in such a pleasant way that live it with them as we read. However, I could not write such a blog. Readers of my blog will not be coming because I am a great writer. However I hope they come and read what is written because the words are true and insightful.

The truth is, this blog was started to lead people to my website and therefore to the book I wrote, Logos of God is the Tree of Life. I would like to publish the book but one does not just publish a book; one must promote the book also. To promote the book I must establish that I am some sort of authority in the subject area. A way to do that is to publish other writings including a blog.

The reason I want to publish the book is promote the thinking of the Creator of the Universe. The thinking of many Christians today is guided by well crafted words, with wonderful sounding ideas, claiming to be what the Bible says. The words sound great together but they are what men think and not what God thinks. If we take what the Holy Spirit spoke and apply an interpretation that come from the minds and experiences of men, we poison the reader spiritually. We act as one who opposes God and undermine the work He is doing in the reader’s life. We must be careful to communicate the meaning of the Bible as He intended when He wrote it.

God uses people to help communicate His message, because He loves us and wants us to take part in what He is doing. We want to communicate His message because it is life everlasting. My desire when writing the book, creating the website, and now with this blog is to point people back to our God. My goal is to help others rediscover the want to know His opinion of what is going on in the world today.
